Mitch Stringer is a freelance photographer situated in Victoria, BC.
Mitch has been photographing commercial, art reproduction, landscape, wedding & portrait imagery professionally in Victoria since 1989.
Mitch’s commercial work has appeared in numerous publications and his personal works adorn the walls of many private patrons. Offering a diversity of skills, experience and a strong technical and creative understanding, Mitch enjoys the entire process of creating strong and exciting images with each and every new assignment.
Mitch also brings over 20 years of teaching experience to all of his photographic endeavors.
Having been lecturing as a primary photographic instructor at both the Western Academy of Photography (both the Professional photography and Written Image programs) and the Applied Communications Program as well as Continuing Education classes at Camosun College, Mitch has always enjoyed sharing and experiencing the passion of photography with many, many new students.
As a primary participant in helping to create the Photographers at Painter’s weekend held at Painter’s Lodge in Campbell River on the last weekend of April each year, Mitch has been very fortunate to associate himself with world class talent, top professionals in the photographic industry that are willing to come up for a weekend of photographic discussion, exploration and passion that is truly a unique experience.
Mitch continues to follow the light, striving to capture the elusive perfection of 3-dimensional imagery on the 2-dimensional plane.
